A New Kiwanis club is organizing in Maybrook to help kids!
4/11/18 – A new Kiwanis club will be opening in Maybrook to give community members the opportunity to help kids.The Kiwanis Club is looking for members of the community who would like to join Kiwanis International which has more than 600,000 members around the world dedicated to volunteer service that helps kids.
“Kiwanis clubs provide a great opportunity to meet new friends who believe in serving their communities, networking with business professionals and making a significant impact on the community through volunteering,” club opener David Morse. “Kids need Kiwanis, in our community and in communities around the world, so they can grow up in a world where they are happy, healthy, safe and loved. ”A new Kiwanis Club will focus on service projects addressing several community needs.
“I understand the changing needs of today’s busy volunteers, and I fully support a Kiwanis Club Charter in the Village of Maybrook” said Maybrook Mayor Dennis Leahy. “They are a wonderful non-for profit organization that can make a difference in our village”.
